Valón Salon prides itself in working with the community. There are a variety of charities that we believe in. Here are just a few examples.


ST. BALDRICK’S DAY FUNDRAISER Pictures from St Baldricks Day 08. Valon Salon & Day Spa proudly participated last month in the annual St. Baldrick’s Day fund raiser held at Fast Eddie’s restaurant in Centreville, Virginia. Members of the Valon team volunteered to shave heads at the event, which coincides with St. Patrick’s Day, to raise money for the Children’s Oncology Group, the foremost children’s cancer research organization in the world. Volunteers raised and donated $1000 each, for the “honor” of having their head shaved for free. Participants included children and adults, both male and female. By the end of the night over $54,000 had been raised for children’s cancer research! A great time was had by all, for a wonderful cause.

We would like to thank everyone for their donations towards the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Valón Salon raised just over $2,000! We feel honored to have taken part in such a great organization and that we could help save the lives of those living with cancer.


We are currently involved in Locks of Love program. Locks of Love is a non-profit organization providing hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children with medical hair loss. Community Programs
Members of the Valón Salon team can visit your church, community group or business or you can come to us for a "free night of beauty tips." Ideas on holiday hair, or how to maintain your hair in between salon visits are just some of the programs we do. We can custom design these presentations depending on your group's wants and needs.
